Navy 10 Miler

10 MILER

Our 10 mile course is flat and fast, with minimal change in elevation.  The first half will take you down our airfield Perimeter Road and onto the taxiways. Then you'll head down the 2.5-mile runway, where you'll run past numerous aircraft.

On the back portion of the route, you will run through our historic Hanger 1050 and then past several more aircraft. The home stretch takes you back down Perimeter Road. You'll finish just outside the Entry Control Point at the Commercial Vehicle Gate, where family and fans will be cheering you on.  And after the race, you can enjoy browsing the vendors and food trucks in our finisher festival.

All runners must adhere to the 20 minute per mile pace or they may be escorted off the runway. 

Changes from the 2021 course can be seen by the red dashed line to the north of the course. In addition, the starting line has moved slightly North, and the finish line has moved Northeast from 2021.  

5 MILER

Like the 10 miler, our 5 mile course is also flat and fast, with minimal change in elevation.  The first half will take you down our airfield Perimeter Road and through our historic Hangar 1050. 

The home stretch takes you down our taxiways past several air craft, and then back down Perimeter Road (This course does not proceed down the main runway). You'll finish just outside the Entry Control Point at the Commercial Vehicle Gate, where family and fans will be cheering you on.  And after the race, you can enjoy browsing the vendors and food trucks in our finisher festival.

All runners must adhere to the minimum 18 minutes per mile pace or they may be asked to wait in a holding area during the start of the 10 miler. 

KEY THINGS TO KNOW:

- Runners are welcome to stop and take photos along the way. 
- ONLY runners will be allowed past the Entry Control Point. Family and spectators will not be able to see the race, but can enjoy our finisher festival while they wait.
